How secure is my patient data?
EZ MD Dictate follows strict HIPAA guidelines to protect patient recordings and keep every submission compliant.
Do I need to sign up before I can use the app?
In most cases, yes self-registration requires a full name, email address, and phone number, and is reviewed by an administrator before access is granted. Alternatively, an administrator can create the account directly, in which case no sign-up is needed.
What happens after I submit a dictation?
Once it reaches the Admin Panel, the dictation is automatically transcribed. An administrator then reviews the recording alongside the generated text and refines it before the note is finalized.
Can I upload audio files I've already recorded?
Yes. The Web App allows multiple pre-recorded audio files to be uploaded in a single session, in addition to recording live through the Mobile App.
Can I save a recording without sending it right away?
Yes. Choose Draft after recording to save it for later. From the Draft module, the recording can be reviewed, sent, or deleted at any time.
What information do I need to provide when sending a dictation?
A title, description, date of service, type, and any additional note, entered on a short form before the recording is submitted to the Admin Panel.
